Do you know the meaning of car number plates and plate alphabets?

We may not know that in the sense of the letters K, Kha, Ha, La etc are used in the name of the bike or car number plate.
The license plate number of all BRTA approved vehicles was introduced in 1973.
What does the number plate mean? Numberplate carry a lot of fun information, many of us do not have any idea.

Number of vehicles in Bangladesh is formatted as 'City Name-Vehicle Category Order and Vehicle Number'.
For example, 'Dhaka Metro Ja-112259.Here, 'Dhaka Metro' meant that the car is under the Dhaka Metropolitan area.
'Ja' is the only letter of the Prime Minister's office car. That means all cars under Prime Minister's Office will be marked by 'Ja' letters. The next '11' is the registration number of the car and the '2559' is the vehicle serial number.
Generally, the letters of the Bengali alphabet 'অ, ই, উ, এ, ক, খ, গ, ঘ, ঙ, চ, ছ, জ, ঝ, ত, থ, ঢ, ড, ট, ঠ, দ, ধ, ন, প, ফ, ব, ভ, ম, য, র, ল, শ, স, হ ' are used.
Each of the letters carries the identities of different cars

  1. ক – 800 cc private car
  2.  খ – 1000-1300 cc private car
  3.  গ – 1500-1800 cc private car
  4.  ঘ – Jeep Gari
  5.  চ – Microbus
  6.  ছ – Microbes / Leguna (Hire driven)
  7.  জ – Buss (Mini)
  8.  ঝ – Bus (coaster)
  9.  ট – Truck (big)
  10.  ঠ – Double cabin pickup
  11.  ড – Truck (middle)
  12.  ন – Pickup (small)
  13. প – Taxi cab
  14. ভ – 2000+ cc private car
  15.  ম – Pickup (delivery)
  16.  দ – CNG (Private)
  17.  থ – CNG (Hire driven)
  18. হ – 80-125 cc motorbike
  19. ল – 135-200 cc motorbike
  20.  ই – Truck (vault)
